In this Indus sign, two water symbols are rotated through 90 degrees to give the idea of a large volume of flowing water.

Comment:

In inscription M-1923, this symbol is used to describe the condition of roads in summer. It therefore, suggests that the inhabitants of Mohenjo-daro experienced something similar to the Southwest Monsoon.
